Awards & Recognition The CASE District VIII Recognition Program celebrates exemplary achievement in the field of advancement by member institutions. The program's goals are to:
These goals are attained through the Professional Achievement and Juried Awards, which recognize the best accomplishments of advancement professionals and education leaders on behalf of their institutions. These accomplishments exemplify standards by which we compare our work, and educate and inspire ourselves to greater success. By sharing our work with each other, we provide a network of expertise to further our institutional efforts. Communications AwardsThe Communication Awards is an annual program designed to recognize institutional excellence in marketing and communications. All members of CASE District VIII are eligible to enter work done in the previous year in 48 seperate categories. Winners are honored each year at the district conference. Learn More. Distinguished Service AwardThe Distinguished Service Award is given to a CASE VIII member for outstanding service to the district. The service may come in any number of ways, including conference leadership and/or speaker; exceptional volunteer role, such as a lengthy record of designing/producing materials for conferences; and distinguished service on the board and with CASE International (trustee, commission, or other major volunteer role). The award is given to a current District VIII employee, or someone who has been a district member within the past two years. Learn more. Leadership AwardThe CASE District VIII Leadership Award recognizes a CASE VIII member institution president or head, chancellor, educational system head, or CEO for outstanding efforts to promote the understanding and support of education. Rising Star AwardsRising Star Awards honour individuals with 3 to 5 years experience in the advancement professions of Alumni Relations, Communications and Marketing, and Philanthropy, recognizing the accomplishments of those whose early success bodes well for future leadership and achievement.
