Angie Bowles
Angie Bowles - Philanthropy

As campaign manager at Camosun College, Angie Bowles is responsible for philanthropic activity including annual, major and legacy gifts. Angie's enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills make her a natural in philanthropy. Securing gifts at higher levels has contributed to her special assignment as campaign manager to raise $5 million toward a new building on campus. Within only a few months, Angie has already successfully finalized a pledge in support of the project, recruited key volunteers as campaign champions, crafted the campaign case statement and secured a mid-level gift.

Rising Star Katelyn Mendoza
Katelyn Mendoza - Alumni Relations

As assistant director of lifecycle engagement at Seattle University, Katelyn is an innovator always looking for newer, more creative and more effective ways to run programs. Alumni engagement is all about relationships and Katelyn has an unparalleled ability to establish relationships and build communities, whether it is with her colleagues in University Advancement or her counterparts in Student Development. Her creativity comes to life through concepting and executing programs where she applies best practices from her experiences at the University of Virginia, University of Denver, Stanford University, and the University of Notre Dame. Since arriving at Seattle University in 2015, Katelyn took over the Alumni Day of Service program and successfully engaged nearly 200 alumni and students and coordinated with 21 non-profit organizations, resulting in the university's largest Day of Service event to date.

Rising Star Vivek Narendara
Vivek Narendra - Advancement

Vivek is in his third year with the Oregon State University Foundation, where he serves as project manager for the Foundation's database migration project. In this role, Vivek has worked with every area of the Foundation and has learned each of their business processes. Throughout, Vivek's success can be attributed to his thoughtful communication, his empathy toward colleagues and his leadership. Vivek's enthusiastic approach to his work puts non-technical colleagues at ease. Additionally, he has volunteered for the DRIVE conference as a board member and presenter.
