Yuliya Dennis
Yuliya Dennis - Alumni Relations

Yuliya Dennis serves as the Director of Alumni Career Services at Oregon State University Alumni Association, where she manages and oversees career programs for more than 200,000 OSU alumni. She joined the OSU Alumni Association in November of 2016 and loves both the mission and her role. Additionally, Yuliya serves as the Assistant Vice President of Mentor Programs for Alumni Career Services Network (ACSN). Yuliya received her bachelor’s degree in history and master’s of education in college student services administration from OSU. Her personal motto is: Engage in what matters and support others in engaging in what matters to them.

Rising Star Paul Kingsmith
Paul Kingsmith - Communications

Paul's portfolio has expanded rapidly during his first three years as senior communications specialist at Lethbridge College. Paul's background in broadcast journalism taught him that being innovative and flexible is key to telling stories in today's media landscape. He has implemented inventive practices to expand the college's brand and media relationships, and his passion for storytelling earned a CASE VIII bronze award for feature writing in 2018. Within two years, Paul assumed a supervisory role overseeing internal communications. He is now involved in planning and communicating high-level college initiatives, including leading the creation and implementation of a highly detailed communications plan.

Rising Star Elizabeth Ocampo
Elizabeth Ocampo - Philanthropy

Elizabeth serves as foundation relations coordinator at Oregon State University Foundation where she supports work to develop, submit and steward grant proposals. She is known for her skills in proposal writing, relationship development and research and analysis. In the past 10 months Elizabeth developed new programming including mid-level giving recognition and faculty grant training. She has also helped increase the distribution of open funding opportunities to faculty by 70 percent, worked on large proposals to private foundations and established new relationships between campus partners and the Foundation. So far this year, her proposals have netted nearly $1 million. 

Hong Truong
Hong Truong - Advancement Services

Hong Truong is an event data coordinator with the strategic events and communications team at the University of Calgary. In this role, Hong has led the preparation, collection, management and analysis of data for the unit’s events to ensure a best-in-class event experience and meaningful stakeholder engagement before, during and after each event. Throughout her time at the university, she has added tremendous value to her team with her sound judgement, professionalism, communication skills and her amazing, warm, friendly personality. Hong is also a proud UCalgary Alumna.
