Robert Hoover
President, Albertson College of Idaho
Currently president of the Albertson College of Idaho, Bob is focused on facilitating the college’s movement toward the Top 100 National Liberal Arts Colleges in America. Hoover, whose doctorate degree is in political science served as president of the University of Idaho from 1996-2003. Prior to that he served as the vice president for academic affairs at the University of Nevada, Reno, and several administrative positions at Utah State University. Hoover serves or has served on numerous boards and advisory commissions including the Board of Visitors of the United States Air Force Air University, the President’s Council, the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges, and the Albertson College of Idaho Board of Trustees.

Christopher P. Bryant
President & CEO, Bryant Group
Founder and president of the Bryant Group, Chris enjoyed a highly successful career as a development and advancement professional and senior executive in higher education and healthcare. In 1988, he co-founded AST/BRYANT, a firm that became the industry leader in philanthropy recruitment. Bryant Group is a successor firm, established in 2002. Chris has served in numerous volunteer leadership positions with CASE, AFP and AHP.

President, Robert Burdenski Consulting Group
Bob, president of the Robert Burdenski Consulting Group, has spent more than eighteen years in fundraising, serving a variety of educational institutions, religious and human service organizations. An internationally recognized authority in annual giving and alumni relations program strategies, Bob has served as director of annual giving and then director of university development at Cleveland State University, vice president for development at Catholic Charities of Cleveland, and chief development officer at Notre Dame College of Ohio.

William Lowery
Vice President for Development and External Relations,
Claremont McKenna College

Currently vice president for development and external relations at Claremont McKenna College, Lowery was for ten years a partner at Bentz Whaley Flessner an international fundraising consulting firm. Lowery has also served as chief advancement officer at Lake Forest College, Carleton College and Wabash College (his alma mater). Having served CASE in many capacities, his has taught more than 3,000 professionals through CASE’s educational programs having received the Crystal Apple for excellence in teaching. Lowery was also founding chair of CASE’s Commission on Philanthropy, and served on the CASE Board of Trustees from 1991-1994

Karen Greene
Director of Major Gifts for Planned Parenthood Minnesota,
North Dakota, South Dakota

Ms. Greene is director of major gifts for Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota. Prior to her current position, Karen served as assistant vice president for operations and special projects at Creighton University and also as senior consultant for Benz Whaley Flessner. She is a member of APRA, former chair of the APRA Foundation, and former board member of APRA. Karen, a nationally known speaker, is a frequent presenter for APRA, CASE and AFP. She also serves on the faculty at the University of St. Thomas’ Center for Nonprofit Management Services.

John Klockentager
Vice President for Enrollment, Albertson College of Idaho

Larry Johnson
Vice President for Advancement, Albertson College of Idaho

John Klockentager is currently serving Albertson College of Idaho as vice president for enrollment and dean of admissions. Prior to his appointment at ACI, John had served three other liberal arts institutions as chief enrollment officer—Monmouth College, Monmouth, IL; Midland Lutheran College, and Buena Vista University. He previously was with the Noel-Levitz Center for Enrollment Management where he was senior vice president. Klockentager has been a consultant for CASE with the Your Campus CIC consulting network, and a member of the American College Testing Advisory Committee.

Currently vice president for advancement at Albertson College of Idaho, Larry Johnson is charged with implementing the branding, marketing, and fundraising strategies to move ACI in to the Top 100 National Liberal Arts Colleges. Larry has served four other institutions of higher learning including Houghton College and Niagara University as chief advancement officer during his eighteen-year career in advancement. Johnson served as a director for Ketchum, Inc., for six years, serving clients in all nonprofit sectors. A member of CASE, Larry has served as a member of the advisory counsel for the Center on Philanthropy.

Barry Fujishin

Barry currently serves as director of alumni and parent relations at Albertson College of Idaho. As Albertson moves into the Top 100 National Liberal Arts Colleges, Barry is the principal force behind the comprehensive reorganization of the Albertson College of Idaho Alumni Association—from national leadership board to field organizations and programming. An alumnus of Albertson College of Idaho (College of Idaho), Barry was a Marshall Scholar in Urban and Regional Studies at the University of Birmingham, England.  A member of CASE, Barry brings to this conference the newly-minted alumni national board to share with the conferees the results of their just-completed leadership retreat.
