Opening Plenary
CASE International could have chosen any topic as a discussion focus for 2007. It chose ethics, and with good reason: according to CASE, advancement professionals, by virtue of their responsibilities within the academic community, represent their colleges, universities, and schools to the larger society. So they have a special duty to exemplify the best qualities of their institutions while observing the highest standards of personal and professional conduct. John Lippincott, President of CASE International, offers his views on the importance of ethics in our profession – and what it means to you in your daily activities.
